First of all, the course is practical, without unnecessary theorizing, with clear, working tools that you want to use further. The rhythm of learning is not pushing, but supporting. Everything is structured, but with room for chance and inner freedom. But what I appreciate most is that I allowed myself to show my work. It's about inner courage, which cannot be bought or summoned by an order. The course created a space where this courage could manifest itself. I thank Annete for this opportunity.

In fact, this course left a strong imprint in my soul and a lot of reflections (and not only on the topic of collage). This is one of the two (I'm being honest) coolest courses I've taken in my adult life, and there were a lot of them. It gave me a strong impetus for creativity and a lot of interesting discoveries about myself. So, I am very grateful to Annete for sharing all this so sincerely!

The first module of the Dialogues course with Annete Sagal was an unexpected space of deep inner response for me. We created a collage — seemingly ordinary images, but in fact they were conversations with ourselves. My postcard was born out of the state I was in at the time. The words that were holding me — pain, back, green, blatant, calm, jury — seemed incompatible. But when I started working with them in images, colors, and textures, they unexpectedly formed a whole story.

It was a meeting with myself-through the pain in my body, through the search for peace, through the inner “jury” that is constantly evaluating something, and even through the ironic image of “blatant” green. And it was therapeutic.

And also, surprisingly, it became easier. Easier to breathe, easier to be. Especially after I shared this postcard with those who attended the online meeting. Being seen in your state is also part of healing.

I really liked it. The course is interesting, rich, very inspiring, and gives a boost to creativity and thinking outside the box. The course is suitable for both beginners and those who are already familiar with and work with collage. I liked the sixth lecture on different techniques. I watched most of it in recording, but it was done with such love that even through the recording I felt completely involved and united with the other participants. It's great that the community is so open and supportive, which is important, especially for new artists. I have no education related to art, so I am currently very eager to develop in this direction, and this course is literally what I needed, what my soul needed, and what my imposter syndrome needed. I am infinitely glad that I joined and became part of the course, thank you!

Information about modern collage, pages with popular collectives and individual collage artists from different parts of the world, it was very informative and inspiring for me, because, for example, now I know how I can participate in challenges and get to a popular account, or I can watch the unsurpassed works of other collage artists. I've been doing collage not so long ago, so the lecture was very valuable for me, it was especially interesting to hear about Annette's own experience, she is an example for me. I would also like to note the ease of presentation and the well-designed presentation.

The lecture was very instructive! I was taking notes and writing down the names of other collage artists all the time, and the works and portfolios that Annete shared were extremely inspiring. I have been thinking about starting a collage collective in my region, and now I am even more determined to do so.

I watched the lecture in one breath. It was so interesting, so informative, and most importantly, you talk about the modern collage universe with passion. I was inspired by this lecture and created a new cool collage! I also updated my subscriptions to collage artists and improved my hashtag collection. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

The lecture on Contemporary Collage was very organized and informative. Annette talked about various collage groups that you can join, information about them, what they focus on. Some I've already joined, some I've learned more about! It was a great way to meet other artists and follow their work. It's a great way to come together and support creativity through art!
